Professor Peter Fuller appointed Victorian Cancer Agency Consultative Council chair

Hudson Institute’s Professor Peter Fuller has been appointed chair of the Victorian Cancer Agency Consultative Council.
The Victorian Cancer Agency Consultative Council provides independent strategic advice to the State Minister for Health and the Department of Health and Human Services’ executive on matters relating to cancer research. It also provides strategic leadership to the Victorian Cancer Agency and drives innovation in all areas of translational cancer research.
Professor Fuller is the current Associate Director of Hudson Institute and Head of Endocrinology at Monash Health. He is a clinician and an NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow whose research interest is in the field of molecular endocrinology and endocrine malignancy.
Professor Fuller has previously held a number of governance roles within research entities, including the Cancer Council of Victoria.
The Victorian Cancer Agency was established in 2013 to facilitate cancer research across Victoria.
Professor Fuller’s appointment is from June 2015 until September 2016.
