Biography

Dr Renata Libianto is a research fellow in the Endocrine Hypertension Research Group and a clinical endocrinologist.

Since graduating with a MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2012, she  has been actively involved in research and clinical practice. Dr Libianto undertook PhD studies under the supervision of Professor Peter Fuller, A/Prof Jun Yang and A/Prof Morag Young from 2019-2023. Her PhD thesis, entitled ‘Primary Aldosteronism: Prevalence, Clinical Features and Biomarkers’ explored the prevalence of primary aldosteronism in Australian primary care and identified potential novel biomarkers.

Dr Libianto is currently involved in various primary aldosteronism clinical trials, and working on identifying methods to improve the detection and treatment of this condition.
